Hooper said that when he was executed by a search command in Chidester's house, he made a camera in the kitchen. The camera had recordings of the kitchen area, including the day of the crash.

Hooper said he extracted the video recordings and looked at hourly material that were recorded on April 20, 2024 before leaving the house.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on April 20, 2024, Chidester can be seen in the video that seems to be a mini bottle of wine while walking around her house. An hour later she holds another bottle of wine.

Around 10:45 a.m. on the same day, she holds an empty bottle of wine in the kitchen and seemed to throw it in the trash.

Around 12:45 p.m. on April 20, she will be seen in the video that finds another bottle of wine while going through the house.

At 2.10 p.m., almost an hour before the crash, chidester is seen as a glass of wine seems to be. Around 2:30 p.m. she goes back into the kitchen with an empty glass and fills it with more wine before going back from the kitchen.

On the day of the crash, Chidester told the authorities that she had a glass of wine before getting at the wheel. She said she drank the wine at Verna, a local restaurant.

However, the BodyCam film material shown in court revealed that Chidester told an officer that she had a glass of wine “about half an hour ago”, although she told the authorities that she had a glass of wine in a restaurant. An employee from the restaurant said that Chidester was in the restaurant from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The crash occurred shortly after 3 p.m. that day.

The receipts given in court during the court proceedings showed that she had a glass of wine with her lunch with Verna.

The investigators said their blood alcohol concentration after the crash of 0.18, about the double legal limit to Michigan.
