Viral internet debate about what the strips are to be used on a towel for finally has an answer – strange

Another topic of niche has led to a raging debate online, and people cannot agree.

The age of the Internet provided us with a lot of entertainment and gave us a new place to align our many arguments – about literally everything.

In this case, everything revolves around a common household object and a viral question for which it is to be used.

Nate Mcgrady is software engineer and has drawn to Twitter to ask a question that many may have asked themselves, but too frightening to share them on social media.

Mcgrady simply asked what the purpose of the strange embroidery is at the end of a towel.

Don't lie, you thought about it at least once.

He wrote: “I am convinced that it only exists to shrink and make it impossible to make the towel well folding, and you lead to buying a different towel.”

A user joked: “Racetracks. It goes dry faster.”

Another said: “The purpose of being annoyed and make me grateful for the other side of the towel, which actually dries your hands all the way.”

One third added: “It is a fraud of Big towel to steal precious softness from our lives!

“Give us back our soft parts, you monster !!”

Some others suggested that a section were used to wipe off their face and body, and the rest was to wipe off the body parts, well below the edge.

“It should tell the top from below so that you do not wipe your eyes to the same place to which you wiped your butt baking,” wrote one what is not the worst way to look at it.

Another agreed and said they wiped their butt under the line and wipe everything else about it.

As funny today, the answer is that it is called the “Dobby border”.

The answer may not be so funny or humorous, but as a user explained: “It is called a Dobby fabric. It holds structure and prevents curling. It is also decorative.”

Another user said: “It is called” The Dobby Border “and reinforces the fabric, prevents frays, adds a decorative note and helps with folding. It is also less absorbing due to its narrower tissue.”

However, if that is not enough for you, the American Handyaler -Hub gave the New York Post an explanation.

“As a Dobby border, this woven strip helps to prevent fraying, improve absorption and give towels a professional, polished look.”

So if you continue to go – if you want to wipe your butt further below the line, you are welcome to do so.
