Viral “wide neck” Charles Dion McDowell arrested because he had sent explicit content to minors

Charles Dion McDowell, who is known as “Wide Neck” after his viral search photos from 2018, was arrested in Georgia for several crimes, including supposedly explicit content to minors.

According to the TMZ, the 37-year-old was detained on February 19 by the Cherokee County's office. McDowell is exposed to minors due to crime due to sending nude videos or photos without consent, electronic distribution of explicit material to minors and harassment of telephone calls.

The authorities claim that he had sexually explicitly explicit videos of a woman several times via cell phones and laptops. It is currently being recorded without a bond.

McDowell became the Internet for the first time in 2018 when his search photo became viral with an unusually large neck. He attracted attention and used his fame by starting a rap career under the names “DBD Wayne” and “Wide Neck”. He even worked together on the viral song Teasing up In addition to other Internet personality Daddy Long Neck.

Despite his online fleet, McDowell has had several legal problems over the years. His previous arrests include fees for stalking, the failure, child benefit, driver license and drug possession. While he has previously denied having an illness in connection with his neck size, some speculate that he can suffer from Pterygium Colli, a congenital disease that causes a mains neck.

McDowell was also part of the shrimp gang, a group of Internet personalities who built an audience through comedy sketches and viral music videos. However, his online success has now been overshadowed by serious legal problems, so that his future was unsure if the case unfolds.
