Wache: Trump says that the congress has to say goodbye “tax cuts for everyone”

President Donald Trump says that the congress will say goodbye to a joint congress meeting during his speech on March 4.

Watch Trump's statements in the player above.

The President said that his tax cuts would not include taxes on tips, overtime or social security benefits.

In the congress, the way to Trump's tax plan remains unclear. Although the Republicans control both chambers, they do not agree that Trump's insistence insists on making their tax cuts for 2017 permanently promises a large campaign path in the 2024 elections. Some Republicans fear that such a tax base would not help with increasing deficit.

However, the first speech of Trump's second term in office is an opportunity for the president, legislative priorities and early achievements.

Trump has applied for some of his campaign promises with Breakneck speed and signed more than 75 management orders in just over a month. Thousands of federal workers were released on the management of the Ministry of Government Efficiency and Trump Advisor and billionaire Elon Musk.

Almost half of the Americans in the latest PBS News/NPR/Marist survey has disapproved of Trump's work performance so far, but his approval rate is 45 percent higher than at any time of his first term. While 54 percent of the Americans believe that the country is going in the wrong direction, 45 percent believe that the country is on the right track, a 10-point jump from December 2024.
