Wan Hai Lines sees record sales, profit

The container carrier Wan Hai Lines achieved record sales of 4.9 billion US dollars of $ 3.03 million in 2023 in 2024.

The company (2615.TW) with Evergreen Marine and Yang Ming, one of the Taiwan's Big Three Liner operator, said that the net profit rose to $ 1.44 billion in 2023.

The operating profit for the 11th largest ocean line in the world rose from $ 47.5 million to $ 1.53 billion, and $ 1.88 billion was $ 58.4 billion compared to the previous year.

The result per share was 51 cents.

The gross margin was 34.9% and the operating margin 31.2%.

The company operates 110 ships with a total capacity of 507,000 equivalent units. It has 31 container ships with a total capacity of 331,000 TEU.
