Watch Live: Trump announces an announcement while preparing the speech on the congress

The nation will hear President Donald Trump a completely different melody singing in his prime time address before the congress on Tuesday evening. Some Americans will sing along. Others will connect their ears.

The old melody is over – the one in which a president “We support NATO strong”, “I firmly believe in free trade” and Washington has to do more to promote clean air, clean water, the health of women and civil rights.

That was Donald Trump in 2017.

That was back when gestures of non -partisanity and the appeals to the national unity at night the president came to the congress were still in the mix to stick to the state of the Union. Trump, new in the job at the time, got its reason in the halls of power and not ready to stomp on everything.

It would take three years before the Americans would see the democratic MP Nancy Pelosi from California, then the spokesman for the House of Representatives tears down a copy of Trump's speech in the Chamber in the Chamber.
