Weather warning day: Fire risk over the area

Today is a weather warning day in the area due to warm, dry and windy conditions. The risk of fire is increased to the east and of crucial importance for the west/southwest.

The temperatures this afternoon will get into the teenagers in the 1970s with the humidity.

The winds will blow out from the south/southwest of 25-35 miles per hour and it is sometimes possible to get up to 55 miles per hour or even a little stronger. Wind counseling is CST for Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Dallam, Sherman, Hansford, Ochiltree, Lipscomb, Hartley, Moore, Hutchinson, Roberts, Hemphill Counties in Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle until midnight. It also applies to trade union and quay counties in East -New Mexico until 7 p.m. MST.

Due to the three main factors, a fire weather warning from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. CST for Cimarron, Texas, Dallam, Sherman, Hansford, Hartley, Moore, Hutchinson, Oldham, Potter, Carson, Deaf Smith, Randall and Armstrong. Also Parmer, Castro and Swisher Counties from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The entire East -New -Mexico will put this warning from 12 noon to 7 p.m. MST.

We will probably hold some fire concerns for Friday, but the temperatures will be a little cooler in the 1960s.
