Weather warning day for the storms exhibited on Wednesday

Lynchburg, Va. (WSET) – Thunderstorms with severe thunderstorms and some tornado warnings are expected on Wednesday.

Here are my thoughts:

Spring towers:

It is spring weather! A strong low pressure vertebra will move in our direction by Wednesday. We will probably see a number of heavy thunderstorm warnings in Virginia and the Carolinas on Wednesday.

Weather warning day:

The ABC13 weather team will issue a weather warning day on Wednesday, which means that effective weather is expected.

Big difficult day in the south:

The day before on Tuesday, the south and the Mittel-Süd paths and a bunch of warnings. Tornado watches with severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings for the states that touch the Gulf Coast and Mississippi.

Storms reach Virginia Wednesday:

The storms arrive in Virginia and the Carolinas on Wednesday, probably in the morning/before lunch. Take a look at certain times.

Good news:

The good news for SW, Central and SW Virginia is timing. The storms will probably blow through the morning/before lunch (I will project later an hour a hour). And the good news is that the morning temperatures are in the 50s to lower 60s. Lower temperatures mean fewer tornado warnings. The storms should get stronger if they approach I-95 and Hampton Roads where it is warmer.

Heavy T-Storm warnings:

On the bad news side, the winds of the upper level are strong and wind gusts near 60 km / h will accompany the strongest storms. This would justify serious thunderstorms. I expect heavy thunderstorms to be the most common type of warning here. Not all locations get a wind of 60 km / h, but most of us should hit at least 40 km / h.

Windy all day Wednesday:

I could see how wind consultations were issued for central and Southside Virginia. Wind drills a large part of the day up to 45 km / h. Higher wind in height.

Strong wind warning possible:

Either wind counseling or strong wind warnings for the mountains/i-81 counties.

Tornado warnings:

No, I cannot answer if your certain district is under a tornado warning on Wednesday. This will be a “Nowcast” declaration based on where individual cells rotate within the line. Yes, we could have Tornado warnings in the ABC13 area. I can tell you that most warnings will be in the Carolinas and East Virginia where the temperatures are warmer.
