Wendy's unveiled the opening date for the Watford High Street location

An opening date was confirmed as a large American Fast food chain that is preparing for the return to Watford.

Wendys Branding rose last month in the former chipotle unit in the 60 High Street with the promise that it would be “in March 2025”.

The opening date has now been confirmed, with a spokesman said to the Watford Observer This March 25th was under control in the pencil.

They said: “Customers can expect fresh food, not frozen and cook that does not cut corner.

“We are overjoyed to open in Watford and look forward to our starting day.”

The burger chain, known for its square burgers, was successfully restarted in Great Britain after 22 years of absence in 2021.

It offers huge American portions, including triple cheeseburgers with fries.

Wendy previously had a branch in Watford, which is located in the TGI -Friday unit -directly opposite the new restaurant.

The new restaurant is opened instead of chipotle, which was suddenly closed in January.

Shortly after the closure, a spokesman said: “As part of our ongoing operations, we checked the performance of our Watford restaurant and made the decision to close the location.”
