Jackson, Miss. (Wlbt) -Hello all! After a stormy day yesterday we have a much quieter rest of the week before the next storms arrive this weekend.

Today the temperatures will cool down, with the heights reaching the upper 50s to low 60s on Wednesday and Thursday. Expect a lot of sunshine today, but we will also experience strong, gusty winds. Similar to yesterday, the winds become up to 40 miles per hour from the northwest made of gusts.

By Friday, the temperatures will gradually warm up by the mid -1970s, although the quiet conditions will be up to the cold front on Friday evening and on Saturday morning. This front will bring our next rain chance.

We will continue to monitor the expected precipitation on Friday and Saturday and keep an eye on the airy conditions today.
