What you need to know about Rockfords St. Patrick's Day celebrations

Rockford, Ill. (Wifr) – The celebrations for St. Patrick's Day of the city take place on March 15, starting with the annual parade in the city center.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade with the Irish Marching Society takes place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The parade begins in 4th Avenue and 7th Street, travels north to State Street and ends in the S. Madison Street.

The celebrations for the St. Patrick's Day of the city take place on March 15, starting with the annual parade in the city center.

The Prairie Street Brewing Co. organizes a free, family -friendly after -party after the parade from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event includes entertainment, food and drinks.

Disco Chicken organizes a party on the roof with food, beverage specialties and live DJs from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. An after party will also take a seat from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
