Attention film lovers: The 97th Academy Awards, known as Oscars, will take place this weekend.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will be broadcast on Sunday evening a number of awards for artistic and technical excellence in the film industry in the Dolby Theater in the Ovation Hollywood.

The comedian Conan O'Brien announced in November that he would host the 97th Oscar Award.

The academy revealed its Oscar candidates last month, which comprises a wide range of films, from the almost four-hour historical drama “The Brutalist” to the musical blockbuster “Wicked” from Fantasy.

The pack for most nominations leads Netflix 'Crime Musical “Emilia Pérez” with 13 Oscar nominations, followed by “The Brutalist” and “Wicked”, both of whom scored 10 nods.

The biggest price of the evening, the best picture, shows a stacked line -up, including the three films listed above, and “Anora”, “A complete unknown”, “Conclave”, “I'm quiet here”, “The Substance”, “Dune: Part Two” and “Nickel Boys”.

The venue of the Oscars is none other than the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, which has been the venue for the Oscar ceremony since 2001. Previously, he was known as Kodak Theater in the Ovation Hollywood shopping center.

The state -of -the -art theater, which was designed by Academy Awards, has a seating capacity of 3,300.

Before the Dolby Theater became a main support, the ceremony between the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Shrine Civic Auditorium and the Expo Center was rebelled from 1990 to 2001.
