Shedeur Sanders only has a hurdle to clarify before he heard his name in the NFL design – the pro day. It is the last shop window for the NFL hopefuls of the Colorado Buffaloes who try to make the leap to the professional level.
In contrast to the scouting combination, the Pro days are much more controlled and written, but they still offer the players the opportunity to stand out in a less crowded group.
However, this may not necessarily be the case in BIG 12. The conference decided on its professional day as a team last year, instead of organizing unique days for every school. For logistical purposes, a professional day in one place is a dream for 16 teams and this continues in 2025.
Hundreds of prospects will have their time in the spotlight and Sanders figures to be one of the brightest to exhibit his talents.
Here is what you should know about Sanders' Pro Day.
When is Shedur Sanders' Pro Day?
The professional day of Sanders is planned for Thursday, March 20. The professional days of BIG 12 are planned for March 18 to 21, but the quarterbacks are expected to take part in the field in addition to the defensive back after running backs and ends on March 20.
The NFL network will have ET LIVE reporting on the event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The BIG 12 will not have school-specific professional days, which means that Sanders and his teammates in Colorado will train next to the other conference schools during this window.
Sanders rejected the chance to throw the NFL combination and instead decided to let his band speak for himself. He visited the event before the disappointment, but in particular saw everything that developed from the sidelines.
On his pro day, concerns about the arm power could be answered where he is expected to present his teammates.
The Colorado Quarterback is likely to be one of the first players in front of the board in the Draft Night and is considered one of the best quarterback prospects in the draft.
Colorado is accompanied by Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah and West Virginia for a few days.
