Shahid Kapoor is humorous that the collaboration with Sonam Kapoor in 'Mausam' made him fashion welding. The duo shared great chemistry outside the screen and forced a bond during the dance samples in Scotland. Despite the minor differences of opinion on fashion, they had no major conflicts. Shahid and Sonam even tried to convince the director Pankaj Kapur to record an item number.

In a Throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Shahid admittedly admitted that he had to strengthen his fashion game in order to achieve Sonam Kapoor's high standards. He announced that the collaboration with Sonam made him fashion knewer and hoped to finally deserve their approval.

Sonam and Shahid shared a noticeable off-screen chemistry. Sonam, which normally thinks of the set, found things with Shahid differently. She admitted that many see him shy, but is actually more reserved. Their bond grew during the dance samples in Scotland, where they got to know each other better.

The actress also released rumors about a tiff with Shahid Kapoor and explained that her only disagreements about his fashion decisions were. She emphasized that they never had big conflicts.

Shahid agreed and described her bond as a love of hate. Sonam Kapoor playfully revealed that despite his impressive eight-pack abs, he was not allowed to show her in the film. She announced that she even tried to convince director Pankaj Kapur to record an item number to present his dance skills and his physique.
Shahid admitted that he also tried to convince the director and proposed an item song that was around an airplane to demonstrate his building because he presented his role as Airforce Officer. However, his father Pankaj Kapur firmly rejected the idea.
