The documentary follows two of the directors of the film, the Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham and the Palestinian activist Basel Adra.

ADRA grew up in the Palestinian West Bankdorf Masafer Yatta. He began to film in 2019 after Israeli construction vehicles had arrived in the village and destroyed buildings.

“I started filming when we started to end,” said Adra in the trailer of the documentary.

Abraham arrived after Masafer Yatta to cover the events and began to visit the village frequently.

In the acceptance speech, Adra and the other three directors of the film demanded an end to the conflict.

Abraham also spoke. “We live in a regime in which I am free under civil law and Basel (Abra) is among military laws that destroy his life,” he said.

The film ended production in 2023 before Hamas started an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Over 1,200 people were taken hostages that day.
