Austin Hill will be the only X-Finity driver on the field that is in Las Vegas before a previous victory in Las Vegas when the Nascar Xfinity series reaches the 1.5 mile route on Saturday afternoon. Hill won two years ago at the then Alsco uniforms 300. Hill will drive No. 16 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.

The defending champion of the race is John Hunter Nemechek, but Nemechek will drive at the race of the Cup series on Sunday, the Pennzoil 400, where he drives a car sponsored by the backstreet boys, so keep your eyes for it.

Last week, Aric Almirola won the XFinity series's victory at the Phoenix Spring Race in an overtime thriller. His dramatic load-lobe pass set a door to door with Alex Bowman to make a win of 0.045 seconds.

And if you watch live in some markets, including Atlanta, you may have missed that. The CW cut off the feed early and prompted some spectators to miss the most nail -bitter moment of the race. Since then, the network has published an explanation that promised: “This will not happen again.”
