It was on March 2, 1836, as a historian believed that the original and five copies of the independence declaration of Texas were written and signed by 59 men in Washington-on-on-Bazos.

In 1821 Mexico had a large part of the country where nobody lived. Therefore, Empesarios were commissioned to recruit new people to pay the country.

Stephen F. Austin, an Impresario, founded San Felipe de Austin as the central center of Texas with 300 settlers.

Shortly after the beginning of this program, Antonio López de Santa Anna was elected President of Mexico. The Texans did not like this new government manager and the whisper of independence began.

In 1835 Mexico sent troops to get a cannon that Texas settlers borrowed in Gonzales. When troops arrived, the Texans had a flag with the inscription “Come and take it” and started the Texas revolution.

Texas soldiers pushed back and took the Alamo. Santa Anna took 6,500 to win back the mission and the ban on fortress.

In the meantime, 59 men gathered in Washington-on-Brazos to explain Texas independently on March 2, 1836.

Four days later, Santa Anna and his troops attacked the Alamo at Dage Breaks and took it back in about an hour. This leads to another notorious Texas line “Remember the Alamo”.

The Texans retired to the scratches that were out of control, where they burned their cities onto the ground so that the Mexican troops would not find supplies along the route.

After several battles and massacres, Sam Houston was appointed commander -in -chief of a regular Texas army.

Houston led his troops to San Jacinto, where he started an attack on April 21 that overwhelmed the army of Santa Anna.

Santa Anna was captured and forced to sign Velasco's contract, who recognized Texas as an independent nation on April 22.

Cowboy Chow in the AT&T Discovery District in Dallas celebrates a Lone Star style with a ceremony in Texas size. It all starts on March 2, 2025 at 11 a.m.

The nodding donkey – Dallas

The nod's donkey in the 2900 Thomas Avenue in Dallas celebrates on Sunday on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on March 2, 2025.

Longhorn Jubilee – Dallas

The Longhorn Ballroom celebrates its 75th anniversary with a first event on March 2, 2025, Independence Day from Texas. Fort Worth Rockers Toadies, Austins The Band of Heathens and Bob Wills' Texas Playboys will take the stage on Sunday. Everything starts at 3 p.m.

Reunion Tower – Dallas

The stars at night are big and bright … but the Reunion Tower will be even brighter on March 2, 2025. Dallas' legendary skyline will celebrate in lights from 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. in lights Texas Independence Day

Landlikt Bar & Kitchen – Fort Worth

In the Landmark Bar & Kitchen in Fort Worth, a parking party will organize a parking party on Sunday, March 2, 2025. There will be live texas Country Music, Texas BBQ, beverage tents, sellers and a mechanical bull.

The train station – Paris

It is Sunday Fundy in the train station in Paris from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.
