Where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day Weekend in Arlington: pubs, music and more

Irish pubs throughout Arlington and if Church prepare for the celebrations for St. Patrick's Day with a one-week celebration in the shop.

Five days of celebration in this Columbia Pike Pub include Live Irish Music and Dancing and Specials on Jameson. When: 4 p.m. Tuesday

A lively, family -friendly celebration with food, refreshments and performances by O'Neill James School of Irish Dance is planned in the Kensington Senior Living Building.

Derek Warfield concert with Knights of Columbus

When: 7 p.m. Thursday

The Irish singer Derek Warfield and the young Wolfe tones will perform a concert by the Knights of Columbus Council 2473. The Celtic rock band of the DC region Poehemia will open the show at 7 p.m., and dancers from O'Neill James School of Irish Dance will appear during the set breaks. The night includes raffles, drinks and slight refreshments. Tickets cost $ 40.
