Why Jaylen Mbakwe has moved to the wide receiver for Alabama Football

Jaylen Mbakwe was easy to switch from Alabama Football Defensive to Wide Receiver.

In a video for his “New Wave” podcast, in which he is normally combined with teammate Ryan Williams, Mbakwe, who was currently ending his first semester season with The Crimson Tide, explained a step that proved to be the conversation of the Bowl season for Alabama, a step that was highlighted by his letter from the NCAA transfer portal.

Mbakwe didn't take long to explain why he wanted to switch from the defensive to the wide receiver.

“Because I want to get the ball in my hands and present my talent,” said Mbakwe.

After Mbakwe merged against Wide Receiver from Alabama's reliable Bowl loss against Michigan, he did not record the Wolverines.

But Mbakwe is a recipient in which Alabama has “Trust”, said Crimson Tide coach Kalen Deboer in December because he recorded 41 catches for 615 yards and nine touchdowns as a recipient at the Clay Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama.

The class of 2026 Wide Receiver Corey Barber, who describes himself with Mbakwe as “best friends”, expects the former corner to fit into the Alabama crime with “unfair” speed.

“This speed is different,” Barber told Tuscaloosa News in February. “He is a great route runner. I really have the feeling that he could be real help in this recipient room, you know, just a deep threat and a guy who can change the game. ”

Despite the move, Mbakwe Alabama still calls “DBU”.

“I'm still a DB in my heart,” said Mbakwe.

Why does Jaylen Mbakwe wear a 777 chain?

Mbakwe also explained a key piece of his game day.

Mbakwe has posted pictures of himself that wears a “777” chain, which he adopted as a mantra.

“777, it means jackpot to take a risk,” said Mbakwe. “Call my jackpot boys.”

Mbakwe added that he had a “777” tattoo on the leg.
