Wildcats back on the course in Zuckerland

Sugarland-The ACU Wildcats are back in action after an almost monthly discharge when they play Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in the Houston Christian-Colin Montgomerie.

The wildcats are part of a 15-team field in the tournament, which is played on the Par-72, 7.051 yard sweetwater Country Club-Cympry course. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by last 18 holes on Tuesday.

ACU-Platz 120 in the country in the last scoreboard, which is powered by Clippd rankings, appears as 49 as the two best converted teams on the field. Also on site is the defending champion New Mexico Junior College, which is number 8 in the latest ranking of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Houston Christian, Weber State, Texas Southern, Incarnate Word, Missouri State, Prairie View A & M, Central Michigan, North Dakota, Nicholls, Southeastern Louisiana, A&M and the BLING COLLEGE are also on site.

The wildcats were solid to start the spring season with consecutive fourth place in Los Vaqueros Invitational (February 2 to 4) in Cancun, Mexico, and at the Bentwater Intercollegiate (February 10th to 11th) in Montgomery, Texas.

From 2016 to 19, ACU took part in the Invitational Colin Montgomerie, won the tournament title in 2018 and ended the other three years.
