Will Georgia Football hold a spring game? Find out whether and when

UGA's latest announcement is made at schools such as Texas and Nebraska, which cancel their spring games.

Athens, Ga.-Das Annual G-Day game from Georgia Football doesn't go anywhere.

After several teams such as Texas and Nebraska canceled their spring games, many Georgia fans were curious how long the Bulldogs may last. On Friday, however, the Athletic Association from UGA announced that the game will be played on Saturday, April 12th.

G-Day, Georgia's annual spring game, has been played since 1941, but was made popular in 1954 when the university would make it a weekend festival.

In view of the recent cancellations of spring games across the country, it was unclear whether Georgia would follow the cancellation of the cancellation for almost decades. At a recently carried out sports meeting, sports director Josh Brooks set the record.

“We are still completely planned on the G-Day this year,” said Brooks. “With such things you have to take it from year to year, but I can say that I guess about coach (Kirby) Smart that he understands the value of the game, and it is an opportunity for some of our fans to come what the players and you may have. It has always been a special day and I think it is in the plans for this year. “

Ugaaa also announced that the team will start spring practice on March 11, as the team is preparing for the 2025 season.

Bulldog fans will get their first foretaste of the new team this Saturday and for the first time in some time, the Sanford Stadium can unpack.

The building forced the sports association to limit the number of tickets they could sell. However, the construction of the stadium was completed before the 2024 season and enables Georgia fans to fill the stadium.

The bulldogs replace 17 starters and keys on their squad. Defensive outstanding outstanding achievements such as Jalon Walker, Malaki Starks and Mykel Williams go to the design, while important participants such as Quarterback Carson Beck and Edge -rusher Damon Wilson II went over the transfer portal.

Georgia has to replace almost all of his offensive and defense lines and find her next full-time start quarters.

Gunner Stockton, who took over in the SEC championship game for Beck and began against Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl, is the favorite before the season to land the starting job. He will compete against the rising red shirt Ryan Puglisi, who was his backup in the Sugar Bowl.

Stockton will compete in a team, either in the red team or in the Black team, while Puglisi will probably compete against him, on which there is no heston.

Several beginners also get an opportunity, including five-star newcomers and Warner Robins born Isaiiah Gibson. The fans will see Gibson for the first time in the UGA uniform together with the native Schley County and the five-star-zayden Walker and the No. 3 view Elijah Griffin.

Tickets were not offered for sale, but will probably be available here.
