Indie game developer and publisher Mitale has revealed their new game, Willowwill arrive for the PC this April. If you haven't seen this yet, this is a fantasy RPG game that focuses more on history than on action because you get a mixture of dungeon crawling, hack-n-slash fights and selected stories. In many ways, the game is a relapse to a series of PC titles from the 90s, in this Brute -Force will only go so far, and you have to make some difficult decisions to make progress that change the result for you. We have more details here because the game comes on PC on April 10 on Steam.

Willow

The darkness descends back onto the hinterland of Tersa, as terrible monster attacks made their animal brothers anxious and called for help. As Ghweros, one of the few remaining Willowguards, you have to put on your worn armor and exercise a blade that has lost its shine to protect other creatures, examine the invasion and (possibly) to discover thousands of years of secret. In lovingly manufactured pixel art dungeons with randomized layouts, they fight more than 10 enemy types and take off with hacks, slash and their battle capacity deck. With slight deck building elements, you create cards with prey that were collected from chests, quest injuries from NPCs and at the end of dungeons, to access skills such as health and armaments regeneration, throw daggers and much more.

  • A living fantasy world: Tersa lives and changes while playing – new characters appear, new options open and the possibilities are lost during the days. To experience everything, require several repetitions!
  • Zero level, but several repetitions: Without conventional dared -based progression, improvement is on the craft of maps, finding and upgrading devices and working on your own skills. Although dungeons are randomized and do not have savings points, you can repeat the encounter for a frustration -free experience.
  • Combine your information: Collect information and elements in the story mode and use them to unlock new places, characters, traditions and the narrative. In this game, reading (in the truest sense of the word) is of fundamental importance to achieve the best endings.
  • Secrets and links: The story is not only full of secrets that find out of the fight, dungeons can also contain links and treasures, and can be activated with more advanced skills that are only available if they return later.
