Women tennis falls in Marathon Dual Match at the University of Rochester

Rochester, NY-Die-Die University of Rochester won five out of six singles games and the Yellow Jackets defeated the Hamilton College Continentals on Sunday, March 2, in a non-conference game with 5: 2 in Rochester's Goergen Athletic Center.

Season -update

  • Hamilton (2-1 overall) won his first two dual games with 5: 2 decisions.
  • The Yellow Jackets (5-3) won for the fifth time in six games against the competition of Division III this season.

How it happened

  • From again Hannah Apsey '25 And Stephanie Pratt '25Hamilton took the colon and a 1-0 game lead with victories in No. 1 and 3 doubles.
  • Pratt set the continental with an excellent win in No. 2 with 2-0.
  • Rochester completed the time breakdown game with the five remaining singles games, including four of them in three full sentences.

Notes

  • Pratt recorded them 27TH Career -Singles and 35TH Career doubles victories.
  • Pratt and Apsey are 7-3 this season as a double pairing.
  • Apsey improved her career double record to 46-26 in Hamilton.
  • Shannon Cicero '25 And Muhan Cui '28 won their two double games No. 3 at the weekend.
  • Cicero has 28 double career, while Cui improved her double record to 5-2 this season.
