Xbox Gaming Handheld licks as Windows 10 -PCs less likely rescuer

What news for a week it was! Our exclusive report on an Xbox Gaming handheld turned the heads, while Microsoft, supported the Copilot to Groupme, caused head scratches.

Here are the biggest headlines from last week from the worlds of Windows and Microsoft.

Xbox Gaming Handheld

For years, people have wondered whether Microsoft would make a gaming handheld device. And even though we have not yet had Microsoft's legendary Xbox Gaming handheld created, we get a little terribly close.

Our managing editor Jez Corden only revealed the hardware plans of Xbox for the next few years, including details about an Xbox Gaming handheld, which is carried out by a partnership between Asus and Microsoft.

Xbox “Project Kennan” is a device that resembles the ASUS ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion GO. Asus makes the device and plans to mix Asus design with the appearance of an Xbox.

According to the Corden, Project Kennan PC will perform, which means that exclusive Xbox consoles are not in the table.

There are many games on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs available between Xbox Cloud everywhere, Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Recently, Google has shared a list of possibilities, as Chromeos has optimized for Microsoft 365. These improvements could be enough to convince people to try out a chromebook or another device that is operated by Google's light operating system.

The best chromebooks range from affordable devices that can handle the basics to more premium devices with touchscreens. You can also transform your old Windows PC into a Chromebook, although there are limits in which devices are supported.

Since Windows 11 has minimum requirements, millions of PCs will remain under Windows 10 later this year. Instead of buying a new device or performing a non -supported operating system, some people have the opportunity to convert their PC.

Groupme integrates into Copilot

In some surprising messages, Microsoft announced this week an integration between Groupme and Copilot.

The Messaging app Groupme has been around for more than a decade and Microsoft has had it since 2011, but the app is not much accessible to the public.

Groupme has a niche, especially among college students. Now these students and other Groupme users can improve their chats with copilot.

The time of the announcement is somewhat ironic, since Microsoft has just announced plans to terminate the Skype support in the course of this year. Skype bought Groupme in 2011, but will now reach his end of life before the app that it once had.

Microsoft 50th anniversary event

Microsoft celebrates the 50th anniversary.

To commemorate the event, the Tech giant will hold a special event on April 4, 2025. At the event, Microsoft will make new KI and Copilot announcements.

We don't know much about what is specially announced, but we know that Microsoft -ce Satya Nadella and Microsoft -CEo from Ai Mustafa Sulyman will present on stage.

Since the focus of the event is the 50th anniversary of Microsoft, the company seems to be unlikely that the company will make a massive announcement, but Nadella and Sulyman could surprise us.

Playing on Snapdragon X PCs

Snapdragon X -PCs do a lot of things well, but playing on the devices can be a mixed bag. Although some Snapdragon X processors can master games, there are some limits on the platform because the chips are built on the ARM64 architecture.

One of the biggest roadblocks is that Snapdragon X-PCs generally do not do well with anti-cheat software. This changes thanks to a partnership between Qualcomm and Epic Games.

Epic Games said that they add the support for Snapdragon X -PCs:

“Hundreds of today's multiplayer games-to counteracting in multiplayer PC games. In addition to the publication of windows on Snapdragon-Cheat support for Fortnite, we will bring this support from an epic online services with an epic online services.

The support for anti-cheat software could make a major contribution to improving the gaming experience on Snapdragon X-PCs. Hopefully the partnership between epic games and Qualcomm is a sign of the upcoming things.
