Yared Nuguse to make the world record attempt at the interior mile at Bu Last chance

Meet organizers have confirmed that Yared Nuguse will drive the mile on Sunday, March 2, at the last chance at Boston University, in a global attempt to record. The last chance of national qualifications at BU is streamed live on Flootrack.

The Coffee Club Podcast posted a video today in which her team -mate Nuguse will try to break the world record again after Jakob In Bebrigtsen 3: 45.14 has run at the World Indoor Tour meeting in Lievin. Inside, this brand set 3: 46.63 only five days after running Nuguse to set the global brand in the 2025 millrose games. Nuguse took 0.38 seconds from Yomif Kejelchas Indoor Mile Record (2019).

Now Nuguse will try to call up the records that he held for such a short time.

Meet organizers also confirmed that Pacer Lights will be implemented this weekend for the record attempt. Mario Garcia Romo is expected to exceed the upper section of the mile. Garcia Romo is a teammate from Nuguse on the on athletics club service plan. He has 3: 29.18 1,500 m personally.

Nuguse was the Olympic 1500 M bronze medalist in Paris. He was scarce to end up in the bulge to land late on the podium. Lately, the two distance stars have exchanged halfway around the world.

Other miles are Olli Hoare, Vincent Chatei, Jack Anstey, Festus Lagat and Henry Wynne. Most athletes in the mile will follow the world standard of 3: 50.00.
