(PPR) ZZ was unleashed the liberation, her long -awaited new album and the first publication in full length under the famous Sun Records Banner. Liberation is a raw, blue-scale explanation of artistic freedom and is a return to ZZ 'roots-an-album, which summarizes her journey of self-discovery, motherhood and the recovery of her space as a mighty blues artist. In order to mark the publication, she also shares the striking music video for the title track “Liberation” of the album, which was shot almost exclusively on the streets of Los Angeles and staged by Adam Ward.

“I did not intend to make a blues album about motherhood, of course it just happened,” says ZZ. “I always wrote to get through things in life. Suddenly I was confronted with a new job that is without breaks around the clock, and I wrote about it. But when you are tested, you will discover who they are and this album comes from a feeling of authorization.”

During the liberation, ZZ comprises her lifelong love for the blues fully and creates a plate that combines coarse-grained chicago blues, feet male delta blues, rootsy garage rock and vintage soul. The album contains both original material and redesigned Blues classics, which were carried out in a unique way. Together with the multi-platinum producer Ryan Spaker (Eli “Paperboy” Reed, Weezer, at this moment), ZZ has created free of the printing of a large label and created music that reflects her most authentic itself.

The album is anchored by the album “Liberation”, a soul -spoiled ballad that remembers the emotional depth of Etta James and Nina Simone. The song is built on lush instruments and ZZ 'Signature Powerhouse Vocals and is a hymn of self -covering. “Years ago someone told me: 'You know what you want to do with your music, but you always look at men to give you okay,” reveals zz. “This song and this album came from this feeling that it was not the little girl to ask permission to make music in my heart.”

Under the direction of Adam Ward, the music video “Liberation” acquires these topics on life against the raw, electrical background of Los Angeles. The video that was shot on the streets of the city captures ZZ in Motion-Bold, inexperienced and Unapologetical Free.

For ZZ, the signing at Sun Records felt like fate for this new era. “It was the perfect orientation for me-showlin 'Wolf for the sun!” She raves. The label, an avant -garde of Americana and blues, offers the perfect home for the liberation, an album that honors the ZZ 'musical hero while forging new ground.

The album also contains outstanding tracks such as “Love Alive”, an emotional raw blues anthem to keep love through the challenges of life. Each song reflects a different facet of ZZ 'travel-self-discovery, resistance and heights and depths of the transformation.

With the liberation in the world, ZZ was preparing for a large tour on the coast to coast and brings its electrifying live appearances for fans across the country. The tour includes stops at large outposts, including some unique intimate environments for you with wineries in cities such as: NYC, Philadelphia and Chicago. Fans can expect a dynamic setlist with songs from liberation and favorites of their previous albums.
